Passive-aggressive literacy practices
Don't know if others spotted a small selection of entertaining literacy pics in the Guardian yesterday - online version of the article here. Sadly the online version lacks the photos but the original blog to which it refers, a collection of photographs of 'passive-aggressive notes', could provide inspiration for the next set of LRC postcards....

Hi Karin
I noticed the article and thank you particularly for the link to the blog as I didn't take in this source at all.
I felt quite dim when I read the article and I still haven't worked it out. (This seems to invite some sort of nasty note but I'll press on trustingly!!)
Why 'passive-agressive' Is it that they run a gamut ie lie in a kind of continuum? I can see some are 'agressive' - very definitely - but I'm not sure how writing a note can be 'passive'. I have a feeling I am simply not understanding something that is probably very obvious to everyone else!
